Hi Sue, there's some great tips in this post so thank you for sharing them! You know that I do understand how life can get too hard. I've been hit with one thing after another for years now actually. But I had a pretty cruisy life before that - no major traumas. This is my time to be tested I think and boy am I being tested. I don't know all the specifics of what you're dealing with right now but I do know that you're resilient and strong and will keep yourself afloat and thinking positively. We all need to withdraw and curl into ourselves now and then. I know I do. We need to do that to recharge so we can use our resilience. I'm always here for you if you need me. I'm not far away. We could always meet for a coffee and cheer each other up! In the meantime - here's a big squishy virtual HUG. Thanks for being open and honest and still sharing tips and positivity with us at #WWWhimsy ! xo

I love that you added the things we're allowed to do. We need to give ourselves permission.

"Do you feel overwhelmed by the endless advice on how to “bounce back”? Social media often shows glossy highlight reels that can make us feel like we’re falling short. But deep down, don’t you already know what your soul needs?" Yep and I want to say once you've walked a mile in my shoes then we can talk about it . We are bombarded 'how to lose weight' Nuts are bad for you. How to cure wrinkes if you pay me xyz. Or ked rid of your double chin in just 30 days yoga class. All scams.

This as really been bothering me, lately, Carole. So many posts about do this and don’t do that I just scroll through. I know people may have experience of want to help, I’m like that, but the older i get the more I am relying on my own experience and intuition. x

Thank you for sharing your tips for negotiating the ‘down’ points on the rollercoaster of life. We all have them and deal with them in different ways but knowing that this is a normal part of life is the most important point. Sending love and good wishes as you negotiate this time.

In my experience we women who care for & about so much carry this until it’s too challenging and we acknowledge we need rest & acceptance of how things are. I got a lesson in that yesterday with not being able to attend an appointment because my body said “no”…. listening to it more now. Xx

When we can say 'no' because we just can't take on anymore is so liberating isn't it, Denyse? You are really doing what is right for you in that moment. The world didn't end because you had to reschedule your appointment and you took care of yourself which is a priority. Hope you are okay today and sending hugs to you. Sue L xx
